BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe

Famous BMW supported tuner ALPINA has tweaked the twin-turbo diesel powerplant from the BMW 123d classic and fixed it under the hood of the BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe.

As a result, the better hp and lighter engine means a largely energy-to-emphasis ratio of 146hp per tonne – virtually matching BMW’s own 330d Coupe. The car is skilled of 152mph and 0-62mph in 6.9 secs and yet the certified fuel consumption and emanation numbers tell a very different rumor: 52.3mpg (complete EU) and 143g/km!

This year only 100 units of the ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe will be unfilled in the UK and a base price starting at £32,950 (about $64,500).
